In the photos of the masterpiece, the man can be seen smiling at the camera from a hospital bed.
He seems to be in high spirits as medical staff work around him, but upon closer inspection, something is off. The hospital workers are holding cake, and it’s revealed that the man isn’t being treated – he is the cake.
Two close-up photos of the eerie cake man’s hand have also been shared on social media. One photo shows his entire arm lying palm down on a hospital bed.
The next photo shows the same arm, but sliced into seven pieces of cake. One mindblown person commented: “This is so disturbing!”
Another added: “Imagine walking past the oven and seeing the silhouette of a man baking.”
Another was having none of it, remarking: “Noooo way, nope, no no no, we’re not bringing this trend back to life.”
Meanwhile, a fourth chimed in with both amazement and alarm: “This is amazing but horrifying!”
