However they have also let go of some top performing players in the process of rebuilding their team. Folarin Balogun and Emiliano Martinez are the key players who left the club but could be of help to them in the UEFA Champions League and English Premier League 2023/2024 season.
Folarin Balogun joined Monaco in the 2023 Summer Transfer Window at fee of €40 Million and Martinez joined Aston Villa in September 2020 for £20 Million. Balogun could line up with Gabriel Jesus is the centre forward while Emiliano Martinez could be their main goalkeeper.
