Instead of them waiting to be rewarded, they surprised teachers with gifts last week as they came together to chart the way forward to excel in this yearโ€™s KCSE.

Having set their mean point at 11.0, the candidates rewarded all the 115 members of staff with flowers to show their appreciation and the love they have for them.

Dr Magdalene Gesare led other members of staff to receive the rare gifts from the determined learners.

โ€œI have never experienced such a good treatment from students since I started teaching 20 years ago,โ€ said Dr Gesare.

The principal and his two deputies received a neck tie each while subject teachers received T-shirts with โ€˜thank youโ€™ labels.

The principal expressed optimism that this yearโ€™s candidates will smash previous records as he prayed for good health and tranquil environment during the examination period.

He asked students in the lower forms to embrace the school motto โ€˜Use Common Senseโ€™ as they toil through the journey of education for a better futureโ€ฆCLICK HERE TO READ MORE ARTICLES>>>ย
