Many teams had so far strengthened their squad with quality additions and the Arsenal football club is among them. The Gunners wasted no time venturing into the transfer market as they bid to challenge Manchester City once again next season.
Arsenal fans all over the world are no doubt unhappy with how the North London club bottled the lead to Pep Guardiola and his men despite staying at the top of the league for the better part of the season.
They were named the favorite to clinch the title because of how good and composed the team was, but unfortunately, they lost the belief and discipline to control the rest of the games.
However, they are now working on becoming more stronger than last season. Arsenal is currently very busy in the summer, with Mikel Arteta keen on landing not less than three players to strengthen every department.
The Gunners have completed the signing of Chelsea midfielder Kai Havertz and an official statement will be released soon.
They are also closing in on Ajax center-back Jurrien Timber. Saliba’s injury also contributed to their loss of form, so strengthening the department is a very good move for the Gunners.
Arsenal are also battling for the signature of Declan Rice who West Ham United have given their blessing to move to another level in his career. Arsenal have seen two of their bid rejected by West Ham, but the team is confident that a deal will be done.
