New Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim has revealed that the Red Devils rejected his offer to join them at the end of the season.

Man United paid Sporting around £10.6m to appoint the Portuguese which included extra payments to release him from his 30-day notice period.
Amorim will take charge of United on November 11 once he has fulfilled his obligations at his current club.
His first match in charge of the Premier League club will be against Ipswich on November 24.
However, Amorim has now revealed that Man United refused to allow him join the club at the end of the season when he initially made the request.
“I asked Man United if I could join at the end of the season,” Amorim was quoted by Fabrizio Romano as saying.
“It was what I wanted but Man United said no. It was now or never.
