In his tweet, Shehu Sani said that if people know uncle Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida very well, then they would know that a priest or Oracle is needed to interpret his statements in order to understand the meaning of what he is saying, no matter how plain his words or statements are.
I think Shehu Sani is referring to the recent news concerning Ibrahim Babangida, were he reportedly declared his support for vice president, Yemi Osibanjo.
During the visit of Osibanjo grassroot organisation to IBB’s house in Minna yesterday, IBB revealed that Yemi Osibanjo is someone that has a great passion for Nigeria and can communicate with the country and inspire the people, Babangida said someone like Osibanjo is good to work with and Nigeria needs a good person to be it’s leader. Babangida also advised Osibanjo to stay on course.
After the visit, Ojo Foluso, the national convener of the Osibanjo organisation said that they came to consult the Oracle and the Oracle has spoken, he said Babangida is an oracle because he understands Nigeria very well and he is happy with Babangida’s endorsement. Ojo Foluso also noted that the group will continue to persuade Yemi Osibanjo to contest in the 2023 presidential election.
