At a news conference held in Osogbo, Tajudeen Lawal, the Osun APC’s acting state chairman, announced this.

By way of Kola Olabisi, the party’s Director of Media and Information, Lawal responded to the Independent National Election Commission (INEC(INEC) )’s announcement of the results of the National Assembly elections held on February 25. Lawal said that the process was marred by fraud.

At the 2023 National Assembly elections on Saturday, February 25, the PDP in Osun won every vote, according to a previous article from DAILY POST.

The party won all the three senatorial and nine federal constituency seats leaving none to its closest rival political party, the APC.

“Our message to the beneficiaries in the reported phantom election results is that they should not rejoice as most of the PDP candidates will have cases to answer at the tribunal,” the APC said.

May we advise the ousted state Governor Ademola Adeleke and his accomplice in political crime, the stiff-necked and departed state caretaker committee chairman, Dr. Akindele Adekunle, to stop offending the sensibilities of the astute citizens of the state and beyond with their statements, even before the official announcement of the results, in defense of the over-voting charge hanging over Adeleke’s head at the Court of Appeal which had previously been upheld by the state government.
