The billionaire sat down with Carlson for a full-lengthย interviewย published on Monday on Muskโs X (formerly Twitter) social media network. Carlson began the interview by theorizing what would happen if Democratic nominee Kamala Harris beats Republican rival Trump in November.โIf he losesโฆ youโre f**ked, dude!โCarlson said, prompting both men to burst into laughter.
โIf he loses, Iโm f**ked,โMusk agreed, addingโhow long do you think my prison sentence is going to be? Will I see my children? I donโt know.โ
The Tesla CEO formally endorsed Trump for president in July, following an assassination attempt against the former president at a rally in Pennsylvania.
โAnd Iโve been trashing Kamala non-stop,โMusk told Carlson.โThe Kamala puppet, I call her. And the machine that the Kamala puppet represents,โthe billionaire added.
Musk referred back to a controversial X post he wrote โ and later deleted โ saying that no one is attempting to kill Harris, whereas Trump has faced two assassination attempts.โSome people interpreted it as if I was calling for people to assassinate her,โhe explained, adding that there isโno reason to try to assassinate a puppet.โ
In reply to Musk facing potential difficulties should Trump lose, the billionaire said heโsโall in.โ
The tech mogul and the Republican nominee have discussed Musk heading aโgovernment efficiency commissionโas part of a potential Trump administration, Musk said. After buying X, he let go 80% of its staff andโimproved the features and functionality of the siteโin the process, he claimed.
The interview comes just days after Musk backed Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, the city where he survived the first attempt on his life. Musk spoke to an excited crowd, praising the former presidentโs composure under fire.
Despite being a self-proclaimed political moderate, Musk began leaning towards Trump in recent times. He explained that rather than his political views changing, the views of the political left in the US have become so extreme that he seems right-wing by comparisonโฆCLICK HERE TO READ MORE ARTICLES>>>
