Manchester United are thought to be considering a huge summer bid for Napoli frontman Victor Osimhen as Erik ten Hag looks for a long-term striker option.
The report states Napoli would want at least £126million (€150m) for the 24-year-old with an ‘auction’ set for the summer, which would break the current British transfer record. And it could be a deal that excites United fans as they mount an unlikely title challenge.
Tottenham to hold Pedro Porro transfer talks
Tottenham will meet with Sporting Lisbon this week to try and strike a deal for Pedro Porro.
The Portuguese club continue to insist they will only sell if the €45m releause clause is paid in full, but Ben Jacobs reports that Spurs still want to see if they can get the full-back for a cheaper price.
It’s claimed that Porro is keen on the move, and Tottenham remain hopeful they will not have to pay the full amount.
Louis Reed joins Mansfield
Mansfield have signed midfielder Louis Reed from fellow League Two club Swindon Town for an undisclosed fee. The 25-year-old made 67 appearances for Swindon after joining them from Peterborough in the summer of 2021.
Reed will be reunited with Mansfield boss Nigel Clough, who gave him his senior debut as a 16-year-old at Sheffield United in April 2014.
