The Gunners were just a stone throw away from signing the talented striker from Shaktar, and had already agreed personal terms with the player.

Chelsea failed to sign several players into the team because several deals were hijacked by Barcelona. Barcelona did this time and time again, and this became very frustrating for Chelsea.
However, it seems Chelsea has now learnt a lesson from Barcelona. The important thing for any club is to sign talented players at any cost, even if it means hijacking them from other clubs.
