Lawyer turned activist Morara Kebaso has raised eyebrows after alleging that the National Intelligent Service (NIS) has placed a mole in his team, a claim he made after a series of unusual occurrences that have been plaguing him for a while.[โ€ฆ]CLICK HERE TO READ THE FULL ARTICLEโ–ถ

โ€œIn my team, the NIS placed a mole a long time ago. This is the truth. I have a mole in my team,โ€ Kebaso narrated in a video posted on his X platform.

Kebaso explained that he had arrived at this conclusion after experiencing several suspicious activities including his car accident that happened in Embu a few weeks ago.

Recalling the terrifying incident, he noted that even though he had initially debunked Kenyansโ€™ rumours that the accident had been planned, he quickly changed his mind when a background check on the other vehicle evoked more questions than answers.

โ€œKenyans were right to be suspicious and I was wrong not to be because the car involved in the accident was not owned by an individual but by a company and when you search the CR12 for that company and you check the company director itโ€™s a dead end. The driver is someone we have looked for but havenโ€™t found him to date,โ€ Kebaso said.

He also cited his dramatic arrest from his headquarters on September 30 as another incident that sparked his suspicions noting that a phone call had been made from his headquarters to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) confirming his presence in the facility.

โ€œSomeone was called here and asked if the boss was in. After that, he called the DCI. When DCI came to this office for an arrest, they didnโ€™t guess. They didnโ€™t look for my office. Remember this compound is so big with so many offices. They came straight to my office as if they already had the plan and layout of the office,โ€ he noted.

He also explained the unexplainable coincidence that whenever bad things happen, the suspected mole is never present, a fact that culminated during his attack at the Bomas of Kenya on Friday during the public participation exercise on DP Rigathi Gachaguaโ€™s impeachment motion.

โ€œThis person is a very close member of my team and should have been at Bomas because if Iโ€™m going to Bomas then my team is also going. Why would he miss and he lives near Bomas? Why did he come to my office where I wasnโ€™t instead of Bomas where I was?โ€ he questioned.

After the attack, Morara noted how he had also received intelligence that he was to be arrested and the whole chaotic incident blamed on him despite only gaining access to the venue with only one other member of his team.

Following this, Kebaso decided to switch hospitals when it came out which facility he was being treated at but decided to pass by the office to pick something. However, he decided to leave his phones in case he was being tracked but no one came to the office to arrest him, which he believes is because the mole confirmed he was not there.

He also added that there had been an attempt to poison his food but he had dodged that bullet because of his suspicions which had led him to conduct a comprehensive background check on the suspect which turned up nothing as his entire history seems to be entirely wiped.

Due to these several suspicious incidents, Kebaso said that he was ready to take Kenyansโ€™ concerns over his security seriously and would vet every member of the team intensely.

However, due to the expensive nature of private security, Kebaso noted that he might need to seek financial help from Kenyans once again to ensure his safety as he fears his life might be in danger.

He also urged Kenyans to continue informing him of their suspicions about any of the members of his team or anything else and he would take them seriously henceforth.

They have urged the government to investigate the incident, arrest the assailants and provide Morara Kebaso with police protection due to threats against his life following the assaultโ€ฆCLICK HERE TO READ MORE ARTICLES>>>
