The first half was a mainly attritional affair, with Brazil only sporadically clicking into gear and Croatia having large spells in possession, albeit with a blunt attack.
Rodrygo and Marquinhos missed their penalties for Brazil to see Croatia knock the favourites and five-time winners out of the World Cup in Qatar.
All four of Croatia’s takers scored their spot-kicks after Dominik Livakovic saved Rodrygo’s opening effort and Marquinhos would hit the post in front of his fans.
It followed Neymar opening the scoring in extra time with a pair of one-twos and a stunning dribble in the box before smashing it into the roof of the net.
The two teams fought really hard but couldn’t find the winning goal and it resulted to a penalty shootout. All the Croatian Players were able to find the Target with all the Four Penalty taken but unfortunately for the Brazilians only Casemiro and Pedro were able to score from the Penalty kick.
