GTCO is the parent company of Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Ltd.
The event, which took place at the main bowl of Accra Sports Stadium, was graced by several music lovers and streamed to millions of people globally via YouTube.
This year’s edition tagged ‘GTCO Music Concert: Live in Ghana!’ is the first time the annual event would hold outside Nigeria.
It also featured performances from several top Ghanaian and Nigerian musicians including Buju, Adekunle Gold, Stonebwoy, Niniola, Adina Thembi, Kuami Eugene, Kofi Kinaata, Gyakie, and R2Bees.
In a blog post, GTCO said the event is aimed at exploring the joy of music and celebrating the beauty of diversity.
“The GTCO Music Concert explores the joys of music and celebrates the beauty in diversity, a common heritage, and our collective aspirations,” it read.
“Authentic sounds, resounding afro-beats, and pulsating rhythm will be enjoyed by the effervescent concert crowd and live-streamed to millions worldwide!
“This year, we’re hosting the largest gathering of music lovers in the vibrant city of Accra to celebrate the best of African music and pop culture.”
