Gachagua appears to be at odds with President William Ruto, and his press release has generated mixed reactions across Kenya, with Sabina Chege among the politicians who have responded.

In a post on her Facebook page, the nominated Member of Parliament referenced a Bible verse, Proverbs. 12:13.The verse urges one to ‘guard’ his/her mouth as it can guard him/her out of trouble.

Sabina Chege has been an ally of the government since her fallout with the Azimio la Umoja team. However now, she is seemingly directing her message to the second in command despite originating from the same region.
