The Betfair customer placed £50 on the selections from the ‘First Half Over 0.5 Goals’ market, picking games from the Premier League and EFL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Scottish Premiership and the lower leagues in Scotland on Saturday (October 22) afternoon.

They got off to a flyer with League Two side Northampton bagging a penalty against Stevenage in the first minute. Leyton Orient and Borussia Dortmund scored in the second minute of their matches against Carlisle and Stuttgart to make it three ticked off.

Further goals from Norwich, Aberdeen and Livingstone followed in the first five minutes, while Kelty Hearts and Peterborough also scored inside the opening 10.

Another seven were landed by the 20-minute mark to make it 15/22 for the punter. Erling Haaland’s 22nd-minute strike for Manchester City against Brighton crossed off another.

Scottish sides Queen’s Park and Ayr scored in the 26th and 29th minutes respectively, leaving four to go in the final 15 minutes.

Ausburg netted a penalty against RB Leizpig in the 34th minute before Morecambe scored against Barnsley in the 39th, but it looked like the bet wasn’t coming in as half-time approached.

Another joked: “Will Collar owed a pint there.” A third commented: “Dude is coming back from the future.” And a fourth added: “Brilliant guesses.”
