Coming into the premier league we have some spicy matches. A full premier league game week returns since the death of U Majesty. With game week 7 getting postponed and game week 8 having limited games.

Coming into the Premier League table Arsenal is still leading the table. Tottenham and Manchester City are 2nd tied with 17 points.

Brighton under Gram Potter was brilliant and now with Potter gone, it would be interesting to watch out how they play under their new manager.

Now with Premier League Game week 9 upcoming. Let’s look at some interesting fixtures in the premier league that one needs to keep an eye on.

The Manchester Derby

One of the biggest games in club football is bound to happen this game week. It’s the Manchester Derby. It’s Manchester City hosting their neighbors Manchester United at Etihad Stadium.

Coming into the two teams, Manchester City had a disappointing draw against Aston Villa in game week 6. In game week 7 Manchester City had an impressive win against Wolves.

Manchester City defeated the Wolves by 3 goal margin in a dominating display. Overall speaking Manchester City has been in fine form throughout the premier league. Erling Haaland has been a key man for Manchester City along with Kevin De Bruyne.

Talking about Manchester United they have had 2 disappointing losses at the start of the season. Since then Erik Ten Hag made slight changes to their setup and line-up and the fortunes of Manchester United changed. Since game week 3 Manchester United has been winning games on the trot.

The last time Manchester United played in the premier league they had a dominating win against table toppers Arsenal.

ManUTD defeated Arsenal handsomely with a 2-goal margin. Now coming into this highly intense Manchester Derby both teams will be looking to gain an advantage in the game.

Manchester Derby is always highly competitive and eventful. Fans all over the world will be expecting an end-to-end game full of drama. The Manchester Derby will also be a tactical battle between two top-class managers.

With Pep Guardiola leading Manchester’s Blue side while Erik Ten Hag who has been highly successful with Ajax will be leading the Red side of Manchester.

The North London Derby

One of the first games to kick-off game week 9 in the premier league will be another derby. The North London Derby.

The Gunners will be hosting Tottenham Hotspurs in the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal is currently leading the premier league table while Spurs aren’t too far behind. The spurs are just one point behind Arsenal in 2nd place.

Arsenal has had a dream start to their premier league campaign in 41 years. The Gunners won all 6 out of 6 games on the trot. Arsenal was in fantastic form both defensively and offensively.

Arsenal managed to score 16 goals in 6 games while conceding only four. Gabriel Jesus since joining from Manchester City has been a game-changer signing for the Gunners. He has been in prolific form along with Saka and captain Odegaard chipping in.

The backline partnership of Gabriel and Saliba has been solid.

But Arsenal’s dream was given a major blow when they came up against rejuvenated Manchester United. Arsenal faced their first defeat to ManUTD wherein they were caught on counter by United wingers.

But credit to them they immediately bounced back from that defeat against Brentford in the last game before the international break and won it handsomely.

Coming into Spurs they have had a decent start to their new season under Conte. Under Conte, the Spurs have settled under 3 at the back system.

Conte has adopted a 3-4-3 system and got their defense shape and cutting edge in the attack. Spurs have also signed decent players who can provide them with decent squad depth. Spurs have had 5 wins and a draw so far in PL.

With both teams coming into a highly intense North London Derby both teams will go toe to toe. The match will be played with two tight defenses with Arsenal and Spurs both being defensively solid and leaking fewer goals compared to last season. We can expect highly intense North London Derby drama in game week 9 of the premier league.

Liverpool vs Brighton

The third game on our list to watch out for will be Liverpool hosting Brighton at Anfield. With Liverpool struggling this season in the premier league while Brighton has had a wonderful start under Gram Potter. But with Gram Potter gone to Chelsea and Brighton appointing Roberto De Zebri.

Liverpool had a disappointing draw against their city rivalry, Everton, in the last time they played in the premier league. Meanwhile, Brighton had an empathy win in their last premier league against Leicester City in game week 6.

With Liverpool wanting to get back their campaign on track they will face a Brighton side under the stewardship of new manager Roberto De Zebri.
