Odion Ighalo has stepped up in the goals race in Saudi Arabia after he netted his third goal in a 3-0 win by champions Al Hilal over Al Wehda.

Ighalo, 33, was Goal King last season with 24 goals.

This season, he is a goal behind the Brazilian Carlos, who leads the attack of his former club Al Shabab.

Al Hilal have 12 points from four matches, same points with leaders Al Shabab, who have scored more goals.

Earlier this month, Ighalo was also on target for Al Hilal to beat Egyptian club Zamalek on penalties and win the Lusail Super Cup.
