In the second half, with Man Utd behind 2-0, Ronaldo came off the bench, but he was unable to score as Ten Hag’s first competitive match in charge of Man Utd ended in defeat.

Ronaldo started and played all 90 minutes of the following game, which Manchester United lost 4-0 in London. Ronaldo was playing for Brentford.

The 37-year-old came in as a substitute for United’s four straight wins over Liverpool, Southampton, Leicester, and Arsenal and played a total of 80 minutes.

In his first game of the 2022–23 campaign, a 4-0 triumph against Nantes in the Trophee des Champions, Messi scored his first goal of the year. After Neymar’s deflected through ball found the Argentine, Messi passed the ball into the open net with his weaker right foot.

Messi scored twice in the Ligue 1 season opener over Clermont Foot to start the league campaign. PSG led 3-0 when Messi strolled forward, connected with Neymar, and clipped the ball with his left foot into the far corner as the clock approached 80 minutes.

In the 5-2 victory over Montpellier, Messi did not assist on any goals, but in the ensuing 7-1 victory over Lille, he scored and provided an assist. He didn’t score a goal in PSG’s 1-1 draw with Monaco, nor during the wins over Toulouse, Nantes, and Brest, respectively.
