Eden Hazard started as Real Madrid hosted Mallorca at the Santiago Bernabua in both teams La liga clash on Sunday. Madrid won the game 4-1 thanks to goals from the likes of Vinicius Jr, Federico Valverde and Rodrigo.
But one Player was missing both on the goals and in the general action, that Player is none other than Eden Hazard who put in a disappointing performance in a game he ought to have performed.
Real Madrid main striker, Karim Benzema is currently out injured and with that in mind, Hazard ought to take every opportunity he has right now to play well and impress his Manager, Carlo Ancelotti. Injuries are no longer an excuse as he looks fitter this season.
If he cannot perform against a team like Mallorca especially after he did well during last mid-week UCL game against Celtic, it only goes to show the fact that Hazard is really struggling and he is far from the Player he once used to be.
