This signing by Chelsea is set to fill gaps left by Romelu Lukaku who moved back to him former club Inter Milan on loan for the whole of the season that is yet to start in about 5 days time.
This is the second signing of the day as Chelsea have also hijacked the move of Marc Cucurella to Manchester city football club in a bid to strengthen their defensive squad depth.
