Goalkeeper: Edoaurd Mendy.
Defenders: J. Kounde, R. James, Thiago Silva and Ben Chilwell.
Midfielders: N. Kante, M. Kovacic and Gallagher.
Forwards: Mason Mount, K. Havertz and Raheem Sterling.
Despite Chelsea’s rumoured interest on Raphinha, the new Chelsea owner wants to make Raheem Sterling his first signing. It is obvious that Manchester city will demand a huge transfer fee for their star player who scored 17 goals across all competitions last season.
Chelsea are yet to make an official bid for the England professional but they are rumors that they are already in direct talks with Manchester city. If Chelsea can sign Sterling this summer, Thomas Tuchel could play him alongside Kai Havertz and Mason Mount.
However, Gallagher who joined Crystal Palace on loan last season could make his significant return to Chelsea this summer.
He is expected to play alongside Kante and Kovacic in the midfield. There are reports that Chelsea are interested in bringing in Jules Kounde from Sevilla this summer, but the Centre-back is currently injured and this deal might be put on hold till he recovers or Chelsea could go for another Centre-back.
However, Kounde is expected to replace Antonio Rudiger and partner with Thiago Silva in the central defense. Thomas Tuchel could also loose some of his players like Christensen, Marcos Alonso and Azpilicueta this summer.
