They were humiliated both by their arch-rivals and smaller teams in the Premier League last season which made them lose respect as a top team in the competition.
Well, despite their owes in all competitions last season, the Red Devils are showing little or no seriousness to make important signings in the summer transfer window.
They might have been linked to so many players in the transfer window but we are still yet to see them complete a single signing so far. In my opinion, I see Manchester United’s sluggish transfer moves show their unseriousness in making up for their last season’s awful outing.
I expected them to be more eager to sign key players that will help them strongly during their rebuilding process next season. With the way things are going, Manchester United’s gesture in the transfer window might affect their performance next season if not changed.
They presently need top-class players to make them strong again and a threat to any team in Europe next season. Title glories will be expected in Erik Ten Hag’s era at Manchester United but it won’t be possible if transfers aren’t made.
