Michael Munai, 42, who hails from Narok County says many people were mistaking him with the businessman, some consequently warning him to stop undermining the government.

Munai, who is a businessman in Eldoret town, says his life is in danger following the ongoing differences involving the Jimi and Kenya Kwanza government.

Munai is demanding protection from the government.

However, the soft spoken Munai narrated that even after coming across such accusations he wants to prove people wrong through DNA test.

“I was born in Narok County but my ancestral land is in Bomet County. We have never met or engaged in any conversation with Jimi Wanjigi who is 62 years old and was born in Wahundura village, Murang County,” Munai explained.

He added “What shocked me, is when I realised that our dressing code is similar. Another thing is about our complexion but he is older than me by 20 years.’’

Munai further revealed that a part from the similar dress code both like to play the guitar.

After being mistaken concerning his similarity with Wanjigi, he started developing interest in finding the background of the businessman.

He later came to know that Wanjigi had married from a village where his wife also comes from.

“Something interesting in our story is that my wife and Jimi’s wife come from the same area. We both have two children,” he said

He caused laughter during the interview when he jokingly said that “it’s on a light note, may be our parents might have crossed the ‘boundaries’, it’s only mothers who know the real father of a child.”
