Osimhen is currently rated as one of the best strikers in the world, especially after his goalscoring heroics last season that helped Napoli win the Serie A.
Chelsea have also been linked with Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres, but Petit also doesn’t want the club to make this move.
It’ll cost well over £100m to sign any of the aforementioned strikers, who are currently the top men for their respective clubs.
However, Petit doesn’t see the need for Chelsea to make a move for any of the big money strikers.
“I don’t think Chelsea need Gyokeres or Osimhen. With Chelsea, there are so many players who are not playing to their level and can do so much more,” Petit told Genting Casino.
