Mwenda Ali was on his way to Nairobi when the devastating incident occurred, leaving his car engulfed in flames and wreckage.
Embu County Commander Nicholas Maina clarified that the accident occurred due to a head-on collision between Mwenda’s Subaru and a Toyota Hilux, with the latter’s owner sustaining minor injuries.
How were Mwenda Ali, daughters injured?
The politician suffered severe injuries, including a deep cut on his forehead, dislocated left leg, and chest pains. Maina confirmed that one of the MCA’s 6-year-old daughters passed away on the spot due to serious injuries.
The other child, along with her father and the driver, was airlifted to Karen Hospital, Nairobi, all with critical injuries.
Unfortunately, the child couldn’t survive the injuries and passed away upon arrival. Reports indicate that the MCA was en route to Nairobi to meet his wife, who was scheduled for medical treatment in India.
