The car marked BUR 852 TS was conveying passengers towards Ondo town. Ondo police spokesman, SP Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, said one person was injured in the accident.
Odunlami-Omisanya said the deceased were deposited at the General Hospital Morgue while the injured passenger was taken to Trauma Centre in Ondo town.
She said Police Motor Traffic Division of Enu-owa have moved in to clear heavy vehicular traffic on the road.
