Accompanied by his family, including his second son, the late actor’s body arrived in Enugu on Tuesday.

Mr Ibu, a veteran actor renowned for his comedic prowess, passed away at the age of 62 due to cardiac arrest. He had been battling a prolonged illness that necessitated the amputation of one of his legs, stemming from a diagnosis of diseased blood vessels.

In their plea for financial assistance from the public, his family cited the actor’s ongoing health struggles, including persistent blood clotting in his leg and other complications that posed grave risks to his life.
