In a post that she made on her official X handle, she lamented how the price of cement rose to eight thousand Naira (N8,000) within a week.
Her post is coming amid the economic challenges that the nation is currently experiencing.
It is no longer news that the current hardship in the country has got many Nigerians speaking their minds.
In a post that Yemi Alade made on her page, she said on Monday, cement was sold at N5,300 but on Wednesday, the price rose to N5,800. Yemi Alade said on Friday, it was being sold at N8,000 per bag.
The Nigerian musician wrote on her page;
