The Former Lagos State PDP Organizing Secretary revealed the major Reason why the plans by the South-East to get the APC Presidential Ticket may not work out.
Why the South-East May Not Get the APC Presidential Ticket
It will be recalled that the South-East Region have been marginalized since 1999, No Igbo Indigene has been elected as President. According to the APC Chieftain, No Indigene of the South-East have indicated interest to Contest the 2023 Presidential Election under the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform.
Equally, he sighted the just concluded PDP National Convention as an example, stating that the 2023 Presidential Campaign Posters of Northerners such as a Former Vice-president, Atiku Abubakar; Ex-Governor of Kwara State, Senator Bukola Saraki and that of the Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal were fully on ground at the Eagle Square in Abuja, but no Indigene of South-East was among them.
