In my view, The eleven players that made the official team of the week fully deserves it due to their superb performances for their respective clubs.
Here is the official English Premier League team of the week;
Goalkeeper;
The Brighton goalkeeper Ben Verbuggen who kept a clean sheet during their away victory over Newcastle United made the list.
Center backs;
The duo of Ethan Pinnock and Micheal Keane who were both instrumental for their respective clubs were paired together in the center-back position.
Full backs;
The Tottenham Hotspur defender Destiny Udogie who recorded one assist during their 4 – 1 win over West Ham United was named in the left-back position while West Hamโs Aaron Wan Bissaka was named as right-back.
Central Midfielders;
The Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones who recorded one goal during their hard-fought victory over Chelsea made list and was paired alongside Nottingham Forestโs Ethan Anderson who recorded one assist in the central-midfield position.
Wide Midfielders;
The duo of Alejandro Garnacho and Facundo Buonanotte who recorded a goal for their respective clubs were named in the wide-midfield position.
Attackers;
