Before, the governor talked with the Minister of Police Affairs, Senator Ibrahim Gaidam, about the safety of the state. They had a long discussion about it.
The governor and the minister both agreed that the security in the state has gotten better. They also decided to look for ways to make it even better.
Buni and Gaidam later met with the president at the Villa in Abuja, as mentioned in the statement.
There is a lot more security in the state now, but in some places it is still not very good. We are taking strong steps to stop criminals from entering our state, especially in areas that are easy targets for them.
