Arsenal need to bolster their attacking options in the club’s bid to challenge for the Premier League title this season.
The club has been linked with a host of wingers, with Bournemouth’s maverick forward, Antoine Semenyo, on the shortlist for a potential move in January 2025. Semenyo has been on very good form and it will take a lot for the Cherries to lose their talisman, especially after coping with the loss of Dominik Solanke to Tottenham.
Arsenal has also been linked with a move for West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus, that has been very influential for West Ham, and will provide great competition for Bukayo Saka, adding to the club’s depth this season.
Arsenal tipped to sign Ballon D’Or nominee
With Arsenal looking for a winger in January 2025, Football Fan Cast reports that the club is tipped to sign Ademola Lookman from Atalanta. Lookman, who managed to finish in 14th place in the Ballon D’Or nominations, has vastly improved as a football since leaving the Premier League to the Italian Serie A.
Lookman scored 15 goals from 33 appearances in his first season in Italy and last season, he smashed in 17 goals and 10 assists from 45 appearances, which also included a hat-trick in the Europa League finals against Bayer Leverkusen. He has continued his great form this season, the Nigerian forward has scored seven goals from 12 games.
In addition to the excellent goalscoring form, Lookman is also very versatile, featuring on the left wing, right wing, second striker and even center forward for Atalanta, making him very indispensable to the team.
