While pointing an accusing finger at an unnamed political leader in Narok, the activist, who planned to engage residents during a rally at Ololulunga, alleged that goons were sent to attack him using a politician’s personal car.

โ€œI am shocked that a whole leader can use his car to ferry county workers to attack Kenyans whose only crime is to expose the truth,” he shared.

According to Morara, at least 50 people were paid to impede his mission by blocking the road, while other goons followed him in two cars.

He added, โ€œWhen they escaped, the more than 50 people you had hired to block the road, your goons followed us in two vehicles (a Prado and a white pickup) and can even be seen attacking us.”

The activist further claimed that some people, who were part of his team, were assaulted after the car they were travelling in burst a tyre, forcing them to escape on foot.

A video shared by Morara on Saturday evening appeared to corroborate his story. It showed part of the damage his campaign vehicle suffered after the incident.

Morara’s statement came just hours after he sent a plea for help on social media, saying he was unable to communicate with anyone.

โ€œI need help. I am currently in Narok; some of my people are injured at Ololulunga in Narok. I am unable to communicate with anyone who can contact the police to come to the tarmac from Ololulunga to Mau,โ€

This was the second attack on the vocal activist, famed for his ‘Vampire Diaries’ which aims to highlight some of the stalled or unfinished government projects across the country.

Earlier in October, Morara faced arguably his biggest test as an activist facing a harsh reception when he joined the convocation during a public participation exercise at the Bomas of Kenya. Unknown people pelted him with chairs, leaving him with head, neck, and leg injuries.

What ensued was a series of arrests as Kebaso was nabbed twice by officers in the space of one week and subsequently charged with incitementโ€ฆCLICK HERE TO READ MORE ARTICLES>>>
