If someone is contacting you, you can unplug the phone (along with the charger) and then re-plug it once the call is finished.
Your charger is always plugged in
Even if the phone is not connected, a charger draws power continuously while plugged in. Your electrical costs will suffer as a result. Furthermore, the transformer emits heat that can build up over time and cause something close to catch fire, or it can short-circuit the transformer, producing a fire if the air in the room is humid enough.
Charge the battery to its maximum capacity. Another unintentional charging error is to drain the battery and then charge it to 100 percent. When the charge on a Lion battery is between 30% and 80%, it works well. If you charge it to 100%, the high voltage of the electric current will overwhelm the battery, causing it to overheat and shorten its lifespan.
