Recall that the state governor, Akeredolu, appointed his son, Babajide Akeredolu, as the director general of the Performance and Project Implementation Monitoring Unit (PPIMU) in the state.

Reacting to this development, Yemi Adamolekun questioned the reason for the appointment, asking how a son is supposed to check and balance his father, as the PPIMU is a government agency established to create checks and balances in the state.

In a video posted by Sahara TV, the non-partisan citizen Yemi Adamolekun said, After he came back for the second term, he now put his son in charge of a government agency, an agency that was set up under MIMIKO to provide check and balance.
