During a meeting with executive members of the Tsangaya Quranic Reciters, he expressed his commitment to avoiding the negative exploitation of executive powers, citing his religious beliefs. In his words, Governor Sule stated, “A lot of people are saying if it’s another governor, he would have dealt with all those working against his interest.

I am aware of the immense responsibility bestowed on a leader by Islam, and I am willing to accommodate their attitudes.” He further explained that, as a Muslim, his religion discourages the misuse of such powers, and he has refrained from deploying stringent measures against detractors and enemies of his administration, guided by Islamic principles.

Governor Sule urged the Quranic Reciters Association to include members of the opposition in their prayers, fostering a sense of peaceful coexistence.
