What caused the Sundance Airport crash? Emergency responders, including firefighters, arrived swiftly to initiate a rescue operation, though the identities of the deceased are still unconfirmed and the cause of the crash is yet to be determined. “We don’t have any information on the family right now.

We just know that there were four souls on board. I don’t have ages, names or anything right now,” Captain Scott Douglas of Oklahoma City Fire Department told KOCO 5 News.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced that the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will lead the investigation into the accident, which occurred on Tuesday, August 5. “It is very early in the investigation and investigators are expected to be at the scene Wednesday to begin examining the plane.

The aircraft will then be recovered and taken to a secure facility for further evaluation,” said an NTSB spokesperson. However, an eyewitness reported smelling smoke at the scene, but further details are awaited as the inquiry progresses.
