Generally speaking, aging is usually experienced earlier in women than in men this is due to how the woman’s body is structured.

However, there are some habits that can facilitate quick aging even among young people. These habits are;

1. Inadequate Sleep: According to Sciencedaily.com, not getting enough sleep for up to 7 hours daily, reduces skin health and increases aging, making one to appear. Also, a research by Science daily.com mentioned that women who don’t get enough sleep show signs of premature skin aging.

2. Persistent and intensive exposure to sunlight: Sun exposure is the most common cause of skin damage and wrinkling.

MedlinePlus.gov mentioned that frequent exposure to the sun especially during the periods of 10:00am to 2:00pm can cause major damage to the skin and its layers as the Ultraviolet rays from the sun penetrates the outer layers and deeper layers of the skin where it kills or damage skin cells including melanocytes (melanin producing cells, responsible for dark colour). This burns the skin and reduced it’s elasticity leading to premature aging.

3. Stress: when a person is too busy and lacks time for quality rest, the body becomes stressed. MedicalNewsToday.com stated that stress increases the secretion and circulation of stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline which affects health.

Stress also, reduces the quality of collagen that is being produced by the body hence, resulting in wrinkles. This makes one to look older.
