Nigerian social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, known as Verydarkman, is celebrating a public challenge he issued to Chukwudozie Nwangwu, a renowned native doctor popularly referred to as Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki. This bold move comes in the wake of allegations surrounding a failed protective spell that led to significant financial loss for one of Akwa Okuko’s clients.
Verydarkman recently shared a WhatsApp recording featuring a man named Rock, who claimed to have paid Akwa Okuko a staggering N3 million for a protective spell that ultimately did not deliver the promised results. In the recording, Rock recounted his experience, highlighting the disappointing outcome of his investment.
According to the details revealed by Rock, he initially spent N2.5 million on the spell, only to later invest an additional N500,000 for a renewal when he did not see the desired effects. This situation prompted Verydarkman to step in, as Rock sought assistance in addressing the native doctor’s apparent failure to deliver on his promises.
However, Verydarkman clarified that the matter was more complicated than he could manage alone. He emphasized the nuances involved, stating, “This issue goes beyond what I can handle. There are layers to it that require careful consideration.”
In a surprising turn, Verydarkman disclosed that Akwa Okuko had refunded Rock N2 million, along with an extra N500,000 for damages, acknowledging the failed spell. The native doctor also reportedly apologized for sending his associates to confront Rock physically, which added another layer to the ongoing controversy.
Amidst the unfolding drama, Verydarkman took the opportunity to assert his influence and power as a social media figure. “I have superpowers that make people scared of my wrath when they behave badly,” he boasted, reinforcing his self-image as a formidable presence in the digital space.
