Let’s briefly review some of the matches played in the Premier League matchday 8.
Manchester United vs Brentford.
Manchester United bounced back to winning ways in the competition when they hosted Brentford at the Old Trafford Stadium. The Red Devils stepped up their performance in the match as they secured a slim 2-1 victory over Brentford thanks to goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojiund.
Bournemouth vs Arsenal.
Arsenal were handed their first defeat in the competition when they travelled to face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium. The 10-man Arsenal team were condemned to a disappointing 2-0 defeat by Bournemouth. Late second half goals from Ryan Christie and Justin Kluivert bagged all three points for the host.
Liverpool vs Chelsea.
The biggest game in the Premier League last week wasn’t short of entertainment when Liverpool welcomed Chelsea to the Anfield Stadium.
