The attack came just hours before Morara was to hold a Mashujaa Day concert in Narok.
Before the attack, Morara had shared photos of himself addressing the public at Ewaso Nyiro in Narok.
Taking to his X account Morara announced the attack, he later attached photos of the attack saying.
“I need help i have been attacked at Ololulunga in Narok. Some of my people are injured. Please help.”
He later updated
“One of my researchers Mr Mudhune has a head injury we are transferring him to another hospital for safety. Shiku also has injuries on the hand.”
Just days ago Morara had taken to social media stating that some people have been paid to spread hate on his socials.
“My team and I have been wondering why we get so much hatred and insults on social media but on the ground, Kenyans are positive and very appreciative of our efforts. After asking around we have discovered that most popular bloggers have teams of youth with thousands of fake accounts who flood the comments on any of my posts. ”
Morara went on to add that despite such efforts he will continue seeking the truth on Kenyans behalf.
“Their mission is to discourage and heartbreak any Kenyan from trusting Morara. To smear and discredit. I went to the comments to check for myself and realized that most of the abusive accounts have near zero followers and fake profile pictures.
