Speaking to the media while he was discharged from Karen Hospital in Nairobi, Gachagua accused President William Ruto of ordering the withdrawal.

“It is unfortunate that my brother and friend, President William Ruto, ordered for the withdrawal of my security from the hospital here, I have been here alone without a single officer looking after me.

He ordered for the withdrawal of security guards in my rural home in Nyeri, in my private home here in Karen and all officers who were close to me were disarmed and given warning that they should not be anywhere near me.

“I didn’t know President William Ruto can be that vicious. I am shocked by how vicious a man I helped to be President, a man I believed in, a man that I was persecuted for supporting him, could be so vicious against me when I’m literally fighting for my life in hospital. How cruel can a man be?” Gachagua held nothing back against his former boss.

He informed Kenyans while being discharged that he doesn’t have a single bodyguard protecting him and that “it’s good that they know that if anything happens to me or my family, President William Ruto must be held to account,” he stated.

Following his discharge from the hospital, Gachagua n arrated the status of his health after he failed to show up to the Senate to testify. Appearing weak and in a sombre mood, the besieged DP stated that were it not forquick medical intervention, he would have been no more.

“After being examined, I was admitted for observation and treatment. Once I stabilized, the doctors informed me that if I had been late for another 20 minutes, we would be talking about a different story,” he revealed while leaving Karen Hospital where he was receiving medication.

โ€œAs we speak, I am okay. I little bit weak but I feel better. The chest pains have gone away,โ€ he added noting as a man he has nothing but to endure.

Gachagua took the opportunity to thank the people who visited him.โ€œI want to thank those who took their time to see me. I want to say I would remain forever indebted to them,โ€ he saidโ€ฆCLICK HERE TO READ MORE ARTICLES>>>
