According to National Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi, there is funding in the budget for employing the JSS teachers.
โThere was no money to immediately employ JSS teachers, but there is money to employ them from January; we have the budget. It is there,โ said the CS.
He also stated that classrooms will be built as the ministry had already released Sh3.4 billion for the same, noting that there was also support from world bank.
โWe will have classes,โ he said.
โAdditionally, the funding for building classrooms has been effected jointly with the NGCDF funds, even in the face of the cash constraints that Kenya finds herself in.โ
