Reports indicate that Kisavi was assaulted by a group of men after he was caught attempting to steal from a shop in Nairobi’s Central Business District.

Police sources said that the MCA had previously stolen a box containing six iPhone Pro 15 devices and had returned to the same shop for more only for him to be apprehended.

This is after attendants at the shop raised an alarm attracting people who were nearby.

The crowd immediately rained on the MCA with kicks and blows causing him severe injuries before police arrived.

In his first public message since the ordeal, Musyoka took to Facebook to share an encouraging post about resilience.
