I arrived at my friendโs house at 5 p.m. sharp. Sheโs obsessed with time, always wondering why someone is a minute late or early, as if sheโs a detective and youโre in her interrogation room. One day, she called me over because we had planned a movie night, but we had to start the movie at 5 p.m. because she never lets anyone into her house after 9:30.
When I arrived, I immediately smelled Moi Moi. I hoped it was for us, but my friend brought a big bowl of popcorn and some drinks, which was fine. I didnโt want to complain and risk losing her trust and not being allowed into her house anymore. After the movie ended, my friend went upstairs to find another one. I decided to give myself a tour of her house, and thatโs when things started to go wrong. I was glad that she was letting her friends back into her life.
