Arsenal started the match on a high tempo as they initiated some good attacks against Southampton in search of the opening goal. The Gunners bossed in possession and also created some clear cut goalscoring chances that weren’t converted. Southampton stood really strong as they held Arsenal to a disappointing goalless draw at halftime.

Surprisingly, Southampton took the lead in the 55th minute of the game thanks to a fine finish from Cameron Archer. Arsenal responded immediately with a beautiful equalizer from Kai Havertz.

Gabriel Martinelli came off the bench and gave Arsenal the lead in the 70th minute of the game thanks to his close-range finish. Bukayo Saka sealed the win for Arsenal in the final minutes of the encounter by scoring a brilliant goal to make the scoreline 3-1 at full-time.

Liverpool kicked off action in the Premier League today when they took on Crystal Palace at the Selhurst Park Stadium. The Anfield Giants didn’t have their best performance in this encounter but they managed to secure an important 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace thanks to an early goal from Diogo Jota.
