Among the new appointees is former Machakos Town MP Victor Munyaka. Ruto appointed Munyaka chairperson of the Kenya Animal Genetic Resource Centre for three years from the dateย of the gazette notice.
Further, the president nominated James Ndung’u as the chairperson of the Micro and Small Enterprises Authority. Donald Murgor will be the chairperson of the Water Resources Authority.
Silas Otieno Jonyo will beย the Chairperson of the Council of the Kenya Institute of Massย Communication (KIMC).
Joseph Kipchumba Lagat is the new chairperson of the National Mining Corporation. Bishop Joseph Kagunda is the new chairperson of the Board of the Anti-Doping Agency ofย Kenya.
Besides the state corporations, the president made appointments to the board that will be charged with selecting the new vice chairperson and members of the Public Service Commission (PSC).
