Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi accused Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua of plotting to remove President William Ruto from office. Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi is among the politicians in Ruto’s fold who are not allowing Gachagua any breathing space.
What Sudi told Gachagua In his latest attack, Sudi accused Gachagua of being behind the machinations against Ruto’s regime. In an intriguing social media update, the lawmaker claimed that Gachagua sought to leverage the Gen Z protests three months ago to depose Ruto.
He suggested that the deputy president ought to be prosecuted for such acts as pursuing an ouster against the president is criminal. “My boss, it’s no longer a secret that you’re the mastermind behind the dead-on-arrival plan to oust our President.
Young people were killed in the streets, and those jailed are a result of the money you poured to sponsor demos, yet now you claim you’re fighting for them! Save for the respect we have for your office, you belong to jail,” said Sudi.
The MP warned Gachagua that they would not sit back and see him plot anarchy to sabotage the current regime. “Just know we’re woke and wise enough not to go after the piper but the chief financier of chaos. Tuko macho mbaya sana.
We know what you’re planning kwa hii maneno inakuja lakini tuko rada. Don’t hide your ill intentions by attempting to box Mt Kenya people into a tribal cocoon,” he said.
Sudi’s post was a reaction to Gachagua’s latest lamentation that state agencies were being used to harass his staff and allies. This was after the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) linked them to the protests that shook the nation.
Besides, the MP has been vocal about Gachagua’s impeachment; he is among those calling for it. Why Gachagua’s allies were implicated by DCI The country’s top investigative body undertook to establish the figures purported to have a hand in the mass action demonstrations. They were mainly accused of mobilising and funding the protesters with an apparent object of blackmailing Ruto’s government.
The accused are Embakasi North MP James Gakuya, Embakasi Central’s Benjamin Gathiru alias Mejja Donk, former Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu (currently working under Gachagua), and former Embakasi West MP George Theuri (working in Gachagua’s office).
According to the DCI, the mentioned lawmakers convened in a Nairobi hotel to organise the demonstrations. They would marshal funds, which would bankroll a section of the protesters who infiltrated the mass action demos engineered by the youth to express disapproval of the Finance Bill 2024โฆCLICK HERE TO READ MORE ARTICLES>>>
