Ivy Wanja went missing under mysterious circumstances in June, leaving her family worried about her whereabouts.

Her panic-stricken family had been searching for her, but his efforts had been fruitless, as each lead led to a dead end.

After three months, the little girl was reunited with her family, and her dad could not hide his overwhelming joy.

“I have received many calls, including calls from Nakuru. A man told me he had seen my daughter and asked me to send him money so he could send me a picture of my daughter. However, his phone went off,” Wanja’s dad told Mwangaza TV Kenya.

The overjoyed father narrated the tough times he experienced while his young daughter was missing.

He contemplated taking away his life because of the stress he had, not knowing the well-being of Wanja.

“I was very unproductive at work. I was thinking about my daughter all day, every day,” he broke down.

Wanja was rescued by a church, which put her in a children’s home in Kiambu county while they looked for her parents.

During that time, she was accessing education like other kids in the programme and did not lack anything.

Wanja’s dad was contacted by the police about his daughter and was delighted to meet her after gruelling months of not knowing where she was Social media users gloried God following the heartwarming news of the father-daughter reunion.

In another story, a woman made a TikTok video showing how much she cared about her daughter, who she had to leave.

The hardworking lady reflected on her enormous sacrifices for her child to have a promising future.
