Kalonzo criticized the current administration, arguing that many of its projects are designed to benefit the elite. He highlighted that they have filed several lawsuits to challenge these initiatives. Kalonzo and Wamalwa specifically called out the controversial takeover of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) by Adani Holdings and various energy sector deals, warning that they would negatively impact Kenyans.

They also condemned the proposed Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF), which would require employed citizens to contribute 2.75% of their monthly salaries. They criticized the affordable housing project for further straining Kenyans already struggling in a tough economic climate.

Kalonzo pledged to strongly oppose these projects, including taking legal action. He urged residents of Lainisaba not to vacate their homes for the housing project until the courts decide on a case regarding their resettlement.
